I started with a background created using the cling film technique. For this I chose picked raspberry and squeezed lemonade distress oxides by Tim Holtz
(Angie Davis does a brilliant tutorial on YouTube showing you how to do this)
As you can see I used quite a few different stamps/inks (I didn’t realise I’d used as many lol). At the end of the tutorial I’ll let you know which I used
I started by doing a landscape. I tore a piece of paper and did several layers by moving the paper for every line I did. I put in a few layers up to just below the half way point of the card.
For the next step I used the small spotted toadstool from the set of two and meadow mushroom.
I stamped the spotty toadstool at an angle and stamped the meadow mushroom twice - one slightly higher than the other
I used a black pen to extend the mushroom (stalks?) to the bottom of the card.
Using Versafine Clair (nocturne) I stamped Pipin the hare on the bottom left hand side, next was the hare standing up (from the whimsical hares set) on the first mushroom, following that I stamped Oona on the next mushroom and then to the bottom right hand corner, I stamped another of the hares from the whimsical hares set.
Next I used two of the mice from the woodland mice set, one on the spotty toadstool and the other on the smaller one of the meadow mushroom. I then used the butterfly from the fairy bugs set to stamp two, one near each of the mushrooms.
Next, using Versafine Clair in chianti I stamped the fir cone branch several times on the top of the card (almost in an arch shape) and then using the nocturne ink to stamp four of the mini flutter underneath the fir cone branches.
Using the slender mushrooms and the meadow mushroom (miniature) I stamped as shown, in nocturne again. Next I randomly stamped in nocturne and chianti - lavender and bluebells, then I used nocturne to stamp the bulrushes a couple of times but I didn’t use the flower part of it; just the leaves.
I then added some blades of grass with a thin black pen and added some highlights
I used a very thin white gelly roll pen for the highlights and silver and gold gelly pens to colour in Oona’s wings and the butterflies.
