This is a simple project that brings joy each time one opens a book to continue the story...
Create background with Brushos - I used purple, turquoise with copper SprinkleIt.
I misted the card stock first, then sprinkled Brushos before misting again to explode the color. This time I used my heat dryer to move the ink and more quickly dry between misting sessions to attain the look I was seeking. SprinkleIt went on last and I dabbed the excess from the surface of the card.
Once the card stock was dried I stamped with Versafine inks - Medieval Blue for Dandelions and Chianti for Mini Butterfly, both second generation as I felt the background was too busy for strong color.
To complete this project I edged the card in Medieval Blue and added Hero Hues premium card stock in Lapis under it.
BTW I swear by this adhesive that Patty sells in her shop. It’s worked the best for me with all of the different weights of card stock and mediums that I use. It’s easy to work with and gives a great hold. 👍
